Hi, I’m Renee, the Inventor and creator of the OG Ponytail!
This is a passion for hair versus insecurities journey for me! I have thin curly hair and forever saw tutorials on how to style your hair into amazing styles but I was lacking one thing…the hair!
I tried the wrap around ponytails and was forever fearful of my hair pieces falling out…and it did fall out on numerous occasions!
My head would hurt from the metal prong digging into my scalp and WORST of all…people could instantly tell I was wearing a hair piece!
The iconic wrap around piece of hair at the base of the ponytail is the dead give away you are wearing a clip-in ponytail. No one wants to wear a hair piece and have it noticeable!
In 2015 I created my own version of the ‘Invisible Ponytail’ and I realised I had solved a huge problem for women globally!
